Poco F2 Pro, Poco’s next alleged smartphone, is going to be launched at a starting price of 649 EUR (approximately Rs 53,900), claims report by Portuguese website 4gnews.

The report suggests that this model will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The second model is expected to offer 8GB and 256GB storage and cost EUR 749 (approximately Rs 62,200).

For those unaware, the
Poco F2 Pro is said to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, the flagship chipset from Qualcomm, which is why there is going to a price difference in the alleged Poco F2 Pro and the
Poco X2 that was launched in India in February.

To recall, the Poco X2 was launched at a starting price of Rs 15,999, but after the recent GST hike, it was moved to a starting price of Rs 16,999.

Poco X2: Specifications
Poco X2 offers a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging, the Poco X2 runs on Android 10 operating system.

For imaging duties, there is a 64MP Sony IMX 686 quad camera setup along with 8MP and two 2MP secondary sensors- a macro and a depth camera each. At the front, it features an in-display dual lens camera consisting of 20MP+2MP for selfies.

Since the last couple of weeks, there have been several reports about the design Apple is opting for its iPhone 12 lineup. Now, there is new information about what the prices of the iPhones in that series could be.

As per a tweet by YouTuber Jon Prosser, the cheapest of the iPhone 12 smartphone is expected to be available at a starting price of $649 (approximately Rs 48,700). It is said to offer 2 cameras on the back with 5G connectivity support and OELD display.

The next iPhone, with only a difference in screen size, will cost $749 (approximately Rs 56,200), as per Prosser. Other specs of display, connectivity and camera remain the same, but it will offer 6.1-inch display.

For the same display, but with triple camera and LiDAR support, Prosser claims that buyers may have to spend $999 (approximately Rs 75,000) dollars and for the big screen variant of the same iPhone, the price may be set at $1,099 (approximately Rs 82,500), making it the most expensive iPhone of 2020.

Prosser cites these prices as to be provided by the same source who provided him with the price of the iPhone SE, ahead of the launch which turned out to be true.

Recently, a report by The Wall Street Journal alleged that Apple may have delayed the mass production of iPhone 12 series by a month as the current situation has disrupted the supply chain and manufacturing process at Apple factories.

The Cupertino-based tech giant usually starts shipping new iPhone models by the end of September and starts manufacturing them in July. It is now expected that with the one month delay in production, the new iPhone 12 series may hits stores by end of October or early November.

Xiaomi under its Redmi brand has launched the new Redmi Note 9 smartphone with quad camera setup and a big battery. The Redmi Note 9 comes after the launch of Redmi Note 9 Pro, Pro Max and 9s. The new Redmi Note 9 starts a price of $199 (around Rs 15,000) for the 3GB RAM/ 64GB storage option. There is another option with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage at $249 or around Rs 19000. Colour options include White, Green and Grey.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Redmi Note 9 runs an octa-core MediaTek G85 processor with support for up to 128GB internal storage. The device flaunts a 6.53-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The quad camera setup consists of a 48MP primary sensor with F1.79 aperture along with 8MP+2MP+2MP secondary sensors. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera.

The device is backed by a 5,020mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The device supports Bluetooth, USB Type-C, NFC support and comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Meanwhile, The Redmi Note 9 Pro features a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The handset is said to come with a coating of triple Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro runs on Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI.

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and packs up to 128GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card. On the camera front, users will get a 64MP main sensor, 8MP wide-angle lens, 5MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the smartphone offers a 32MP in-display camera for selfies. Redmi Note 9 Pro comes in three colour options — Aurora Blue Glacier White and Interstellar Black. The handset is backed by a 5020mAh battery with 18watt fast charger.

South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched a new version of its entry-level smartphone — Galaxy J2 Core — in India. The handset has been listed on Samsung’s online store with the name Galaxy J2 Core (2020) in a single storage variant. To recall, the handset was originally launched in 2018 with 8GB internal storage.

The Galaxy J2 Core (2020) smartphone has been priced at Rs 6,299 and in three colour options — Blue, Black and Gold.

In terms of specs, the handset offers a 5-inch qHD PLS TFT LCD display of 540 x 960p resolution. It comes powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor. In terms of storage, users get 16GB ROM, 1GB RAM and a microSD card support of up to 256GB.
